Review: Speechless by Hannah Harrington

SpeechlessSpeechless by Hannah Harrington
My rating: 4 of 5 butterflies

Where do I begin? Speechless was such a great book. I didn't want to stop reading it, that's how good it was. Harrington had me hooked from the beginning. The MC Chelsea Knot walks in on something that she's pretty sure no one is supposed to know about, but goes and blabs her mouth off to all of her friends anyway. After 2 of her friends do something terrible to one of the people she walked in on, Chelsea starts to feel guilty about what happened and decides that she's going to take a vow of silence because clearly, talking too much has proven to do nothing but harm.
While taking this vow of silence, Chelsea gets harassed by the people who she once thought were her friends. They write terrible things on her locker, say mean things about her. She tries to not let it get to her and sometimes its really hard to not show her emotions, but she manages to hold it all in. Chelsea learns a lot about herself and the new friends she makes along the way.
This book needs to be read by anyone and everyone!
